Drewton's expands it's 'own range' of products

Our talented head chef, Adam, has put his heart and soul into developing and expanding our range of ready meals, all of which are freshly prepared in store for your convenience.

He has recently created a number of new options, including Sticky Toffee Pudding, Cottage Pie, Fish Pie and Chilli Con Carne, and makes full use of the fantastic, locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients available in the Farm Shop. Adam works closely with colleagues in our Butcher and Baker department to come up with new ideas.

He said: “For the team here at Drewton’s, it’s all about getting the best out of the great ingredients available in the Farm Shop, which are used in the ready meals that we prepare and in the dishes served in the restaurant. We’re always happy to share recipe ideas and tips with our customers, so next time you’re looking for inspiration, don’t be afraid to ask staff for ideas. They’ll be happy to tell you about the ingredients that are in season; where they’ve come from; and help you come up with recipe suggestions and advice on how best to prepare them.”

Staff in our Baker department bake fresh cakes, fruit pies, sausage rolls, pork pies, quiches and lots more on a daily basis, including our award-winning Steak Pies, which picked up a silver award in the 2011 ‘England’s Best Steak Pie’ competition. We even make some of the delicious pâtés and salads available from the delicatessen counter.
