More awards success for Drewton’s Farm Shop

Published: 22/05/2017

Just days after winning East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Chairman's Award for Business (under 50 employees), Drewton's Farm Shop near South Cave has been shortlisted for the Coffee Shop of the Year title in the Hull Lifestyle Awards and named a regional finalist in Delicious magazine's annual Produce Awards!

Proprietor Katie Taylor and her team rounded off a fantastic week with the news that their homemade Steak Pie, which is made using meat sourced from local farms and prepared by its team of butchers, has earned them a place among finalists from the North East of England in the national food and drink magazine's award scheme.

Katie said: "We've won East Riding of Yorkshire Council's Chairman's Award for Business twice in the past few years, so I was honoured just be shortlisted again, especially as we were up against some strong opposition. When I heard our name called out at the awards ceremony, it was a real shock. I'm absolutely thrilled.

"We then got the news about being nominated for the Hull Lifestyle Awards and a finalist in the Delicious Awards, so it has been a really exciting few days."

Katie is urging customers to vote for Drewton's Farm Shop in the Hull Lifestyle Awards by visiting before 15 May.
