There’s nothing nicer than buying someone a unique, handcrafted gift that has been made with great thought and care. We’ve taken our commitment to supporting local suppliers to a whole new level by stocking the work of a number of talented craftsmen and women in our Luxuries department, where you’ll find a beautiful selection of gifts, cards and items for the home. If you’re looking for inspiration for Mother’s Day and Easter gifts, you’ll find lots of gorgeous ideas.

Among the items produced by local craftspeople, you’ll find kitchenware and homeware, including aprons, tea towels and mugs, by Vicky Brook and The Shed; beautiful cushions by Caroline Aitken and Simply Interiors; landscape photography by David Marshall; original water colour illustrations by Mary Spink; framed water colour prints by David Smith; photography of local birdlife by Michael Ashforth; woodturning by Paddy Hall; handmade pottery and kitchenware by Pat Kay and The Old Milking Parlour; handmade soaps from The Village Soap Co. and walking sticks, key rings and whips by Steve Kirk, which are sold in aid of Leeds Lymphoedema Service.

There’s also a lovely range of traditional children’s toys and games, as well as cards, gifts and seasonal decorations, including lots of pretty little items for Easter. Don’t forget we also sell Drewton’s vouchers and can even personalise vouchers for your occasion.
