Celebrate Burns Night in traditional Scottish style at Drewton’s Farm Shop

For the second year running and in response to demand from customers, Drewton's Farm Shop will once again be hosting a traditional Burns Night celebration later this month.


Following a drinks reception, at which cocktails and canapés will be served, guests will feast on a four-course menu featuring traditional Scottish delicacies, including Cullen Skink and haggis with 'bashed neeps and champit tatties'. In keeping with Drewton's Farm Shop's commitment to championing Yorkshire food and drink producers, all of the ingredients will be sourced from its extensive network of local suppliers.


Proprietor of Drewton's Katie Taylor said: "It promises to be a fabulous, fun-filled evening and it goes without saying that - in true Drewton's style - we'll be putting a slightly Yorkshire twist on this wonderful Scottish tradition, which celebrates the life and poetry of Robbie Burns. There will be an official piper in traditional dress and a performance of Burns' work after dinner."
